Tofas is the first company, which is commiting to IIP (Investor in People) award, in automotive sector. IIP is new to Turkey. There are only 8 award holders in Turkey and all of them are in non-manufacturing sectors. Tofas will be the first award holder, which has blue collar employees. 

We completed the very first 5 steps and got the commitment certifcate. Yesterday we arranged a cocktail prolounge in order to announce this to the press. More than 20 media agencies were invited to the meeting, and almost all of them attended. However, most of the attendees were either interns or reporters from a completely irrelavent domain. They listened us a little, eat the repast and left the meeting immediately after the CEO’s speech. There I understood that all these media issues are just huge humbugs.
